There's a show Sunday, 7PM, and I think that we're having Micah the Magician as the opening act, IIRC! Come to the show! |

We're going to have DM-approved weapons for sale tomorrow, so bring plenty of cash! They're cool, they're show-safe...one sword, one axe, one warhammer. Once we sell them, they're gone, so come and buy! |

Christmas morning, I got a phone call from the fiancee of a former actor from the Dungeonmaster troop, Jim Partlow. Apparently he had taken a fall that night that led to his demise. Although he'd been one of the senior members (in age) of the cast, it was still something of a shock to hear that he'd passed. He had participated as an audience member before joining the cast, and did a sufficiently fine job that his character Sarky had made Guardian of the Flame, before he joined up. I also recall that he was one of the first opening acts the show used, wherein he did his own magic tricks. We waited to announce this to avoid spoiling the holiday for other members of the cast who remember him.

| Next Thursday Night! |
[Dec. 10th, 2010|04:38 pm] |
To all my friends at DungeonMaster, I'd like to invite you to come out and enjoy a new take on this Holiday classic! It's one night only next Thursday, and the proceeds go to help us fund our 2011 season opener in March. I hope you can make it!
“Look daddy, teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.” One of the most beloved and treasured films of all time, nothing reflects the joy, soul, and celebration of the holiday season more than Frank Capra’s sentimental classic It’s A Wonderful Life. Now, Theatre Unleashed is pleased to bring this heart-warming tale to the stage in a one-night-only production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Set on Christmas Eve, 1946 at a New York radio station, the show offers patrons a behind-the-scenes look at a piece of nostalgia from a simpler time, as the cast, radio manager, secretaries, sound effects technician and assistants from WBFR in Manhattan come together to produce a special radio presentation of this touching holiday masterpiece.
